The Dyslexia Advisory Council (DAC) was established in May 2015 with the Alabama State Board of Education’s appointment of 27 individuals. Council members serve to ensure that the State Department of Education and State Board of Education receive needed information regarding implementation of the Dyslexia Amendments to the Alabama Administrative Code across the state.
